TORONTO, ON (June 20, 2024) — The Toronto Beaches today announced that the team has acquired forward Will Sheehan and defender Eric McDonald from the Oakville Buzz.
Sheehan, a righty hailing from Oakville, has spent his entire junior career as a member of his hometown Buzz. The 6-foot, 171-pounder had his best season to date in 2022, where he had a career-best 51 goals to go along with 45 assists for 96 points.
In 11 games this season, Sheehan has posted _ goals and _ points. Over his 56 career games, he has 122 goals and 231 points.
Sheehan plays at Yale, where he has appeared in nine games over his first two years with the Bulldogs.
McDonald, a Sarnia native, was drafted by the Buzz with the sixth overall selection in the 2020 OJLL Draft. The defender has played in 59 career games for Oakville,

McDonald attends Johns Hopkins, where he plays alongside now-Beaches teammate Matt Collison. He’ll be heading into his junior season with the Blue Jays this coming fall.
