TORONTO, ON (April 30, 2026) — The Toronto Beaches have acquired forward Reed Chamberlain, along with second-round selections in 2027 and 2029, from the Peterborough Lakers.
In exchange, the Beaches sent goaltender Joe Fitzgerald and a first-round selection in 2027.
A 2007-born forward, Chamberlain has spent the last two seasons with the Lakers’ Jr C team, helping the program capture back-to-back Meredith Cups as the champions of Ontario.
In his first season of junior lacrosse, Chamberlain appeared in 28 games, posting 37 goals and 64 assists for 101 points. For his efforts, he earned the OJCLL’s East Rookie of the Year.
Last summer, he upped his production, finishing the year with 49 goals and 75 points for 124 points, leading the Lakers to the championship.
The Peterborough native stays close to home for his collegiate lacrosse, playing at Trent University.
